Simple Project : Repurposed Wood + Hooks
This master bathroom makeover will be featured here later this week, but this simple project is a sneak peek of that room...
I love reclaimed or repurposed barn wood. I also appreciate the look and feel of wood found at the beach. Driftwood can be useful in home decor. In this case, it was a whole wood plank that floated up on shore. This piece would inspire a unique focal point for this makeover.
I simply screwed the driftwood plank up onto the wall. Then, I added some dark bronze hooks that I purchased at Lowes. The tone of the hooks matches the other accents in the bathroom makeover. Once those hooks were lined up and attached - I was ready to add some luxurious towels to the finished space.
A quick and easy project that really took very little time. It fits perfectly into my makeover space (as you will see later this week), but it also adds a nice layer of rustic detail to the room.
More to come on this one...
