Quick Kitchen Update...
A quick way to change the look of your kitchen can be as simple as adding a shelf...
Here, I took an open area over a stove and added a stainless steel shelf that is clean and simple in style - yet it is great for creating easy-to-reach storage...
From gathering cooking oils, spices, everyday dish ware to using it in other creative ways - a single shelf can add style and order to your space.
Instead of putting it over a stove, the same shelf could easily be mounted on the wall of the "backsplash" area under your upper cabinets in the kitchen...By being slightly-raised over the counter (below the cabinets) you could have a perfect spot for coffee mugs (which would free up interior cabinet space), displaying teas/coffee canisters or cookbooks. The point is to give you more cabinet space for other stuff (that can be out of sight) and freeing up counter space too..
Even just taking an open wall in your kitchen and gathering a grouping of several open shelves can give you an instant area to showcase everyday stuff. Keeping things in order will go a long way...
Give it a try...
