Kid's Playrooms...
- Kid's playrooms are fun spaces to design...
- To me, in any playroom I design or even in my own kid's playroom spaces - it's all about good storage that works for both the little ones and you (the clean up crew)...
- I thought as spring cleanings begin...these images might inspire some new looks to your own playrooms out there...
- Fun side note, changing up the toys from time to time in the playroom...keeps toys "interesting" for the kids...Store some away and rotate them out...The discovery of the toys again is always a great way to keep the energy moving...and the kids interested in the toys a little at a time...

Lovely post. We rotate some of the toys as well. The boys get so excited to see a toy that had "disappeared". Aside from just needing to get rid of toys (they have way too many), I really need to look into a more permanent storage solution. I found some cubbies, but the little stackable shelf is working at the moment. I think storage is the key to toy sanity. I like that the post touches on the storage being something that the little ones will use. Clean up around here involves Mama picking up a million legos to avoid stepping on them...any parent that has a lego-loving child knows how unpleasant it is to step on a lego, or clean up stuck- in- the rug play-do.
Thank you Stephen for some great playroom ideas. I plan on a spring cleaning this weekend. On my way to our local Ikea with pictures from your post in hand!!!! Love your blog
