Props you can use!

• The holidays are truly a great time to enjoy the good things we love...There is something about seeing the cranberries in the grocery store again, egg nog in the dairy section and people rushing around with their lists of things to get for the big meal...

• When I do makeovers, bowls of fruit usually end up being a prop somewhere in the space...but with Thanksgiving just around the corner - it's a great excuse to have bowls of things gathered around because they are going to be used up very soon...apples, oranges, cranberries and lemons...Just the way I like the kitchen to be...

• Pies and desserts are always a fun part of Thanksgiving...maybe this year it will be all about smaller pies or maybe cookies instead of pies...certainly a chance to have some fun and be creative...

• Off to add some things to the To Do list...and start planning out the details for the long weekend ahead...
