A Creative Artist...

• Being an artist - as well as a designer - I always keep an eye out for other artists whose work I admire. As a designer, I know how important having art work in our own homes is because it brings personal style into any room...another layer of visual interest.

• I love how painters can take a blank, white canvas and bring a whole world to life from nothing...simply from their imaginations.

• John Singer Sargent was a painter that I have admired personally because of his use of light, color and texture. At the same time, I admire the reality of simple, American life moments captured in the works of Norman Rockwell. Two very different artists - yet each has left their unique, creative mark on the world.

• So in looking at works of other artists...I find myself drawn to art work that captures moments in the same way... but also uses light and color beautifully...
